LAKERS OVERCOME SCARE TO BEAT KNICKS

The Los Angeles Lakers were down by as many as 15 points, when they rallied in the second half to beat the New York Knicks. Kobe scored nine of his 28 points in the final 7 1/2 minutes. The Lakers must beat lesser teams by higher margins with more consistency to give them at good chance at beating the Chicago Bulls 72 game record.
