CARMELO ANTHONY BEST SMALL FORWARD IN THE WEST?

Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets recently declared that he is the best small forward in the Western Conference. We can agree that LeBron James is the best small forward in the Eastern Conference. But Blake Murphy of Hoops Addict argues that Kevin Durant is currently the best small forward in the West. Yes, Durant has similar stats to Melo, but look at how each player’s team is doing. The Nuggets are an elite squad that has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs, while the Oklahoma City Thunder are a young team still struggling to find it’s footing. Melo isn’t just spouting off when he stakes such a bold claim.
