TRAILBLAZERS DID RIGHT BY STAYING PAT

The Portland Trailblazers stuck by their squad and let the trade deadline pass, and that will eventually pay off, says Fox Sports’ Randy Hill. The team has a young nucleus that could mature together and get a lot better. A scary though considering they’re already in the thick of things for home-court advantage in the playoffs. The team has a superstar in Brandon Roy, and even without oft-injured Greg Oden, are headed in the right direction.
