Time is limited and unless you’re an NBA player, you probably don’t have six hours a day to work out and practice. RONDO’S LACK OF A JUMP SHOT

The Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo has no consistent jump shot and teams are daring him to shoot. Jeff Clark of CelticsBlog says that “Rondo shoots the ball better off the dribble than he does in a catch-and-shoot situation.” If Rondo ever develops a jump shot the Celtics would be nearly unstoppable while being anchored by three future Hall of Famers. LEBRON HAS A JUMP SHOT?

LeBron James proved last night against the Portland Trailblazers that he can shoot the ball from mid-range and beyond when the Cleveland Cavaliers won 104-98. He took a total of 30 shots shooting 7 of 17 from mid-range and 3 of 6 from three point territory. Time and time again, LeBron James pulled up for a jump shot with defenders sagging on him making scoring look easy. It’s a part of his game that has been criticized over the years and something that LeBron worked hard in the off-season to overcome. It looks like his focus on improving his mid-range game has come to fruition.
