July 30, 2009 by Andy · Leave a Comment
Kevin Durant is a lock for the Olympic team as his play puts him far above the rest of the players trying to make the cut. It’ll be fun to watch a long dynamic scorer like Durant light it up in international play.

With the season nearly wrapped up, it’s time to present our awards for the end of the season. We’ve been treated to another strong season, and the playoffs promise to be even more intense. But rather than the usual accolades, we at Ball or Die have devised our own set of categories we felt deserved merit and recognition. CARMELO ANTHONY BEST SMALL FORWARD IN THE WEST?
February 12, 2009 by Andy · Leave a Comment
Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets recently declared that he is the best small forward in the Western Conference. We can agree that LeBron James is the best small forward in the Eastern Conference. But Blake Murphy of Hoops Addict argues that Kevin Durant is currently the best small forward in the West. Yes, Durant has similar stats to Melo, but look at how each player’s team is doing. KEVIN DURANT IS UNDERRATED
January 27, 2009 by Andy · Leave a Comment
Kevin Durant is a great player on a really bad team. Bill Simmons from ESPN makes a compelling argument on why Kevin Durant is underrated partly because he has more game winning shots than LeBron James and is currently breaking every scoring benchmark by age by “averaging 26 points, eight rebounds, 48% shooting, 85% from the line and 43% on threes since Thanksgiving.” What I want to see is if Durant can maintain his efficient prowess while being surrounded by quality players rather than his current supporting cast. We’ll just have to wait and see.
