Shaq is feuding with an ex-coach and an All-Star caliber ex-teammate. Sound familiar? In Orlando, it was coach Brian Hill and Penny Hardaway. With the Lakers, it was Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant. This past week, Shaq exchanged words with former Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy and former wingman Dwayne Wade.
KOBE HAS A BIGGER QUEST TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIP RING

Kobe Bryant displayed another magnificent performance as he scorched the New York Knicks for 61 points. However, the bigger question that remains is whether Kobe can win a championship as the main guy. Last year, he came two games shy against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. With Andrew Bynum out yet again with a knee injury, the question remains if the Lakers can do it this season. According to J.A. Adande of ESPN, Kobe’s biggest enemy right now is time. If Kobe can win a championship this season, it’s going to be a huge monkey off his shoulder and he can write his name in the history books as one of the greatest ever.
BYNUM OUT FOR 8-12 WEEKS

Los Angeles Center Andrew Bynum is out again with another knee injury. Bynum will miss approximately eight to 12 weeks because of a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee and might not appear until playoff time. This is bad news for the Los Angeles Lakers who desperately needed him in the NBA Finais last year where they were physically outplayed by the Boston Celtics.
