Stoudemire got poked in the eye during a game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night and had surgery earlier today to repair a partially detached retina. He will miss the remaining season and will be out at least 8 weeks. Suns President Steve Kerr said the surgery was a success and believe that Stoudemire will have a healthy recovery. Bye bye Suns from the playoffs.

They need to cut their losses and trade Brand to stop bleeding money for an overrated basketball player.

It’s the fifth win in six games for a suddenly hot team.
