NBA ROUNDUP: 6/27 - 7/3

July 3, 2009 by Andy · Leave a Comment

The biggest news this week is Ron Artest going to the Los Angeles Lakers. Artest has the talent and the toughness to be a contributor to the Lakers, but the biggest question will be his attitude. If Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant can keep Artest in check, they will be even more dominant. But that is a big if. SUPERMAN FACES THE A-BOMB IN NBA FINALS

June 4, 2009 by B. C. · Leave a Comment

It is universally acknowledged that any team in the hunt for an NBA championship needs a solid big man as the centerpiece of the team. LAKERS’ ARIZA NOT A BUST

January 21, 2009 by R.C. Cola · Leave a Comment

When Trevor Ariza left UCLA after only one year, he had a mediocre career in New York and Orlando. Los Angeles Times’ Bill Plaschke called him a bust. But after coming to the Los Angeles Lakers, his career has had a resurgence. He’s a well-respected defender, and has been a key reserve player in a dominant Lakers squad.
